I hope I've sparked your curiosity about the world of Murano glass. From a history spanning more than 700 years to the incredible designs that have come from it... honestly, I could talk about Murano for hours.

One of the things I love most about Vintage Pareltjes is the hunt for unique pieces. No matter how good the picture is, a camera can never fully capture the way the light dances through the glass. It's only when the lamp is switched on that you see the depth, the colours and all those beautiful little details. If you're thinking about buying a vintage lamp, don't just look at the design. Pay attention to the condition of the glass, check if the lamp is complete and make sure the wiring has been inspected. They may not be the most exciting things to look at, but they make all the difference if you want to enjoy your lamp for many years to come.
