What a stunning piece. This teak veneer desk stands out because of its bold, architectural lines and angled side panels. A subtle brutalist character but at the same time, the geometric form and the brass cover caps on each side add an art deco touch. The desk is beautifully finished at the back, so it can be placed in the middle of the room

The desk features one wide drawer with a sculpted wooden handle. The warm teak veneer is in good vintage condition, with some natural signs of age that highlight its authenticity. A unique piece that blends mid-century functionality with the strength of brutalist design and the elegance of art deco details.

While the exact origin is unknown, the piece leans heavily towards Scandinavian design; most likely Danish or Swedish, though it could also be French. It shares stylistic elements with the work of Bohumil Landsman.
