Walnut chest of Drawers, Giovanni Ausenda for Stilwood.

Such a beautiful Italian piece from the 1960s. Designed by Giovanni Ausenda for Stilwood, in 1960. The rich walnut wood has a lovely warm brown tone, and I especially like the long, oval shaped handles that give the drawers their distinctive mid-century look. The clean lines and subtle details make it interesting without being too much. With five spacious drawers, it's also a really practical piece. Beautiful in a bedroom, but I can just as easily see it in a living room with a nice lamp and some ceramics on top.
